Rani Mukerji is in control

Actress Rani Mukerji is leaving no stone unturned to make her forthcoming film perfect. Rani, who will be seen in Aiyya next is apparently so involved in the film that she has taken complete creative control over it, says a source.

Rani was the senior most actor on the sets, while the director Sachin Kundalkar is a newbie as far as Hindi films are concerned. He has however directed Marathi films including Shubhra Kaahi, Nirop and Gandha. The latter was based on the concept of smell and had three independent stories in it. Even Aiyya has been inspired by the same concept, wherein the woman finds a man desirable because he smells good.

Apparently, Rani would educate Sachin about the nitty gritties of Bollywood films, like how he should dictate the staff  and get his work done on time.

The film to be released in October has Rani playing a Maharashtrian girl leading a crazy, twisted life who falls in love with a South Indian boy played by Malayalam actor Prithviraj.
