Ranbir Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz kiss and tell

Ever since it was announced that actor Ileana D’Cruz would be joining actors Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in the upcoming film Barfi, there has been a constant buzz about her chemistry with Ranbir. While much has been reported about Ileana and Priyanka apparently not getting along well on the sets, it has been learnt that the two do not have many scenes together.

The trio came together to launch the theatrical trailer of the film but there was no sense of discomfort between the two ladies.

Priyanka, however, didn’t stay for the after party as she rushed home to attend to her ill father.

Though Ileana’s character has been kept under wraps, people do know her as the face of various commercials and if insiders who have seen the rushes of the film are to be believed, her chemistry with Ranbir is sizzling.

When asked about a kissing scene, between the two, Ileana very confidently answered that it has come out well. “Yes I was apprehensive about the kissing scene because filming any intimate scene requires conviction and belief on what you are doing. Apprehension was on the shooting bit, not if the scene was really required as I already knew what the scene was and it was heightening the script and the romance. The kiss went off really well,” Ileana said.

Ranbir, on the other hand, dismissed it as “no big deal”. “As an actor, you deliver a performance. This was something we felt was necessary and we went about doing it. I think it has come out artistically and aesthetically,” said the young actor. Contrary to reports about the film being dark and intense, the actors also told everyone that the film has Ranbir playing a deaf and mute character and Priyanka an autistic woman.
