Queen Latifah wants to adopt Haitian children

While most celebrities are doing their bit by donating money to the Haiti earthquake relief fund, Hollywood actress Queen Latifah has said she would like to adopt a Haitian baby.

Queen Latifah, 39, whose real name is Dana Elaine Owens, said on the Today Show on January 21, that she is ready to become a parent.

"I wanna just go down there, and get some of those babies," Us magazine quoted her as saying on the show.

"If you got a hook up, please get me a couple of Haitian kids. It's time. I'm ready," she added.
