Priyanka Chopra hopes for a super-fun birthday

It’s actor Priyanka Chopra’s birthday today and according to sources close to the actor, ‘having loads of fun’ is what’s on her mind for the day. The actor, who’s treated herself to a vacation in Europe is reportedly at present in Ibiza, Spain with a bumnch of close friends “She had been really busy with her films, Krissh 2, Teri Meri Kahaani and Barfi, so once she wrapped up Krissh sequel and her film with actor Ranbir (Kapoor), she decided to take a vacation, coinciding with her birthday,” says a source. But it’s not just all play for the actor, who is also said to be busy working on her music album there. “Late night in the studio!! Uff!! Tired but gotta sing my ass off!! Last few days of vocals!! Inspiration and TLC needed!” the actor had tweeted a few days back.

The actor had been planning for a long time to work on her music, but it had taken a backseat when it came to balancing her films in hand. “I didn’t want to rush in on making music, I think it is a very organic process and it has all to come from within. It’s not like okay today I want to make music and it will be done, so I want to give it the time to nurture what’s in my mind and heart and let it grow through my music,” Priyanka had earlier said. Talking about the kind of music, she wants to create, she’d added, “My music will be an extension of who I am and a reflection of my own feelings, but though desi at heart, it will have a global appeal, and anyone listening to it will be able to relate to it.”

The actor meanwhile, also revealed that she is very content with the pace of her work at present. “I think I’m really lucky to have gotten to do films like a Saat Khoon Maaf or Agneepath or a Barfi now. So, I’m really happy with the kind of roles coming my way and glad that filmmakers are considering me for such roles, where there’s so much scope for performing,” the actor shared.
