Preity Zinta’s unique charity gesture

A lot of B-Town celebs indulge in charitable acts but this one is a tad bit different. Actor Preity Zinta is known for her charitable side, and the actor recently took charity to another level by donating her hair! Yes, the actor has chopped her hair and has donated it to a cancer foundation.

A source tells us, “Preity loves experimenting with her hair and she makes sure that she gets a different look every time for each of her films. This time around it was no different. She’s leaving no stone unturned for her new film which is her maiden production venture. Preity keeps experimenting with her looks, but it had been a while since she was sporting long  hair. So, seeing the excess hair chopped, she decided on the spur of the moment that she should donate it and maybe help people. “Preity instantly decided that she should donate her hair to a cancer foundation to help little children and adults who are suffering from cancer and have to go for chemotherapy, which results in hair loss. Thus, after styling it she simply donated it to a foundation,” the source further added.

Preity’s film, Ishq in Paris, is apparently in the last stage of post production, and she is making sure that she gives it her best shot. “Furthermore, Preity believes in karma. She knows that doing good deeds can bring  her good luck too. Maybe that’s why she is doing her bit to help people around her,” says a source
