The director is hurt about reports of him imitating director Anurag Kashyap by creating a blog for his film

Recently, there were reports that dubbed director Pavan Kaul (of 'Ssshh' and the under-production 'Bhram' fame) as a copy cat. It was alleged that Kaul had started writing his personal experiences on his blog taking a cue from director Anurag Kashyap.

Incidentally, Anurag has been maintaining a blog on his under-production film, 'No Smoking'.

Interestingly, the remarks have generated heated reactions from the bloggers. People have been writing in to support Kaul. Even Anurag mentioned on his blog that Pavan shouldn't bother about anyone. "Just go on making films. I love your write-ups," is what Anurag wrote.

A peeved Pavan says, "I have nothing against anyone. I don't know why people would want to say negative things about me. I was invited by the website owner to pen my thoughts. I wasn't copying anyone. As a filmmaker too, I have never consciously tried to copy anyone."

He says that he's glad that he's getting support from other bloggers. "People have been posting their views and from what I gather; they didn't like what was said about me."
Incidentally, Pavan has been running his own blog, even before Anurag began writing his diary last month. Also, director Shekhar Kapur has had a blog for the past several months.

Meanwhile, Pavan, nephew of the late actor Raj Kumar, has started another schedule of his film 'Bhram', which stars Dino Morea, Milind Soman and Chetan Hansraj. His cast, claims Pavan, has also called him to show solidarity. "Dino and Chetan asked me not to bother. Both are nice guys and they are by my side."
