Pa, I’m a Pa too: Abhishek to dad Amitabh Bachchan

All speculation surrounding the Bachchans ended on Wednesday morning as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gave birth to a healthy baby girl. According to sources, hubby Abhishek was present by Ash’s side all through.

A wish come true for Abhishek, who had said earlier that he wished for a baby girl. According to insiders, the Bachchans immediately distributed sweets among those present.

“Amitabh and Jaya are both delighted and congratulations haven’t stopped pouring in since morning. Abhishek was beyond himself with happiness and hugged everyone present in a joyous embrace and said, ‘Pa, I’m a pa too!’ as he hugged dad and added, ‘I am happy beyond words. It’s certainly the happiest day of my life’,” says the insider. “Abhishek had always wanted a girl, so he’s more than happy. A few minutes before Ash delivered all he kept saying was that he just hopes that both mom and baby are fine,” adds the source.

The actress is expected to leave the hospital within a span of three days amidst tight security. Apparently, the staff is not allowed to take their mobiles on the floor as part of the security measures.

The source also reveals that several international magazines are already queueing up to make a deal with the Bachchans for the first look of the baby, but the Bachchans are not interested. “They had been getting such offers all along, but they are just not interested,” says the source.
