Bina Ramani hopes that Siddharth Sanghvi's hasn’t crossed the thin line between storytelling and character assassination.

“I can’t understand why a real novelist would need to resort todamning somebody’s reputation. Doesn’t he have any imagination left? I haven’t read the book, but I have heard that it has references to meand my family(their involvement in the Jessica Lal murder case)."

If he has stated facts, then it cannot be disputed. Butif he has fabricated facts and thereby slandered my daughter or me,then he will have to deal with his conscience. I haven’tread the book, but once I do I will decide what action to take."

"I can’t imagine why the publishers would go ahead with such a book. It’s funny that he has written abut the incidents without once feeling the need to talk to me or my daughter about it ”
