Her dad still doesn’t talk to her; he still doesn’t answer her phone-calls or emails. But actress Veena Malik says that he will come around.
“He is a very strong person, just like me. I went to live with my maternal relatives when I was just three years old. He wouldn’t listen to me, as I don’t listen to me. He still remains very firm on my decision. He wouldn’t talk to me. But that’s okay, I know one day he will come around and understand where I am coming from. Hope he would understand that I am being wronged here,” says Veena.
According to Veena, she has been going through a very tough time ever since her nude pictures hit the internet. Even though she says that she has clarified that she had clothes on during the shoot, it doesn’t seem to be making anything better for her.
“Yes, there are protests and I got threat calls from some people and I don’t want to go into that. But I am in a strange situation right now. I have been crying from the roof-tops that I am not the person that I am portrayed to be. But somehow everything seems to be falling on deaf ears. I have never found myself in a situation that I have lately been. Every day seems so difficult for me,” Veena says.
The actress adds that she has decided to let things be for the time being. “I want to let it pass. Let this pass and please pray that this passes off quickly,” she says.
