Actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s birthday is just around the corner. She has much to be excited about this birthday which falls on November 1 because daughter Aaradhya will be joining in the celebrations, a fortnight before the little one herself turns one. According to sources, a mini-vacation with hubby Abhishek Bachchan is probably on the cards. The buzz is that Abhishek might be planning to whisk his family away for a two-day celebration in Goa.
“No formal plans have been made as of now, but knowing Abhishek, he might just surprise Aishwarya with a holiday in Goa, because both of them love the place. However, it won’t be surprising if the family has planned a get-together with some close friends to bring in the birthday as well,” says the source.
The insider adds that the Bollywood beauty usually makes it a point to visit a temple on the day, and this time may not be any different. It is possible that they may fly out later during the day. Though no concrete plans have been shared, the source confirms that something is brewing because Abhishek is trying to take time off work inspite of back-to-back schedules.
“We do know that Abhishek has been planning to take a break and has been trying to keep his date diary free for the two days. Also, since he was in Chicago earlier shooting for Dhoom 3, he wasn’t able to spend much time with the ladies even though they visited him there later during the schedule. He might want to make the most of his two days off and take them away on a birthday break,” adds the source.
As for Aishwarya’s return to films, the insider reveals that though there’s been buzz about her taking up films again, she is said to be in no rush. “She may have read some scripts, and offers have always been there, but it’s too early to confirm if she’s signed the dotted line yet. Aishwarya is completely a hands-on mum and is enjoying that role completely for now. Besides, she is also taking her role as the new International Goodwill Ambassador for UNAIDS rather seriously,” shares the source.
