Meet Hrithik Roshan’s new fans

When it comes to watching a hero on screen, Shah Rukh Khan thinks that it’s not him that kids look up to but actor Hrithik Roshan. In fact Khan admits that Hrithik is probably a better hero than him.

“Even my kids think that Hrithik is the best looking hero on screen right now. In fact, kids don’t love me as much as they love seeing Hrithik on screen,” Khan said while shooting for a television show.
According to Khan, his kids friends also emulate a few of Roshan’s on screen dance steps.

“They look up to Hrithik and try to copy some of his dance steps too. So when it comes to comparing my superhero character (in the forthcoming Ra.One) and the superhero that he has portrayed (in Krrish), I think Hrithik wins kids hands down with most kids,” Khan adds.

According to sources, Khan has also told his friend and film-maker Karan Johar that he sometimes feels “jealous” about how Roshan has managed to put little ones under a spell — a feat he has still not achieved as a superhero.

“Hrithik has always scored with kids with his larger than life acts and SRK always complains about how he couldn’t outdo Hrithik’s on screen superhero act. He just hopes that he scores with Ra.One and beats Hrithik’s Krrish hands down,” says a source.

Roshan apparently laughs out loud when he is told that he scores over Khan when it comes to popularity with kids. “But at the same time he knows that with the next instalment of Krishh (which has not gone on the floors yet) he is going to give SRK some serious competition,” the source concludes.
