Following speculations about her comeback film, actress Sridevi's film is finally on track and took off early this month.
The actress, who was facing the camera after 15 long years for a film, had numerous visitors and well-wishers on the sets of English Vinglish at Yashraj studios, the most prominent being filmmaker Yash Chopra. It's a known fact that the filmmaker is quite fond of Sri with whom he has given some memorable films together. But no one was quite prepared to see his son, filmmaker Aditya Chopra who's notoriously elusive, dropping by to see the actress can the first shot for her comeback film.
"In fact, it's not surprising that the filmmaker made an exception in this case. After all, it's Sridevi who’s making her comeback. And Aditya has known her from the time he’s been assisting his father on films like Lamhe," says a source.
Actor Amitabh Bachchan, who's doing a cameo in the film, too tweeted about facing the camera again with Sridevi after their last film Khudagawah in 1992. "Shooting today with the effervescent SriDevi after eternity almost...” he shared. “SriDevi still the same.. spontaneous and lovely..!!" he adds about the actress who was once called the female Amitabh Bachchan.
