ShareThe Great Indian Comedy Show star Kunal Kumar is up to some mischief with his camera phone!
The great Indian comedian, Kunal Kumar, when asked to brieflyintroduce himself said, "I am a talented and upcoming actor with a wide variety of interests including brand endorsement, producing and directing short films, digital photography, script-writing, phonetography and the list goes on."
Phonetography is a new niche in photography - here the huge SLRs or digital cameras are replaced with mobile phones with cameras. Kunal has taken this to a professional level. He says, "In the present scenario, wherein the mobile phone cameras are subject to a lot of controversy, my efforts are like a whiff of fresh air granting a new lease of life to the mobile phone cameras. My desire to outdo the rest has fuelled me to present to the world the first phonography album - 'Life an Abstract', which is due for release in the very near future."
Ace photographer Jagdish Mali comments on Kunal's photographic cut. "What makes Kunal's work so special is his zeal to experiment with the unusual, like photography with his mobile phone, a rare phenomenon in India and abroad. His tool kit is nothing more than his communication tool i.e. his mobile phone with a camera. Looks strange but exciting, isn't it?"
