Kunal Khemu is sad that Srinagar in on news for bloodshed

The film's promos have been released and it's Sonu Sood who looks more like the hero of the Dhoondte Reh Jaoge than Kunal Khemu who's also playing a pivotal role.

"I don't know whether you are trying to sniff out a controversy here. But I am not uncomfortable about sharing the limelight with anybody. This film has an ensemble cast and Sonu is an important part of the film. So what's wrong if he gets his fair share of the limelight? For that matter, I would say even Paresh Rawal is no less than a hero in the film if you look at his role and screen presence," says Kunal, whose last outing as a hero in Superstar didn't bring in the desired results.

Khemu plays the role of a 'guy from a very lower middle class background' in Dhoondte Reh Jaoge who loses all his money to chase his dreams.

"The film is an out-and-out comedy. The guy is typical loser who comes face-to-face with life before he turns it around for himself," he adds.

With his long locks gone, Kunal says he is looking forward to a change in his luck.

"I got much acclaim with Traffic Signal but Superstar didn't do well. I have got rid of my hair that I had grown to keep continuity in the film. It's time for me to try out all those things that I haven't done so far. I am shooting for another film with Soha (Ali Khan) called 99. I am about to shoot some more but I will talk about it when the films go on the floors," he adds.

Khemu hails from Srinagar and he says he feels bad that it is not the safest city to be in anymore. "I was born there and I moved away in 1990 when I was seven years old. After that my family moved away from there to Delhi and Mumbai. Now, only a handful of relatives live in Kashmir and we are constantly worried about them. It pains me to see that my birth-place is not a safe place to be in anymore," the actor ends.
