Keira Knightley, Rupert Friend living in a boat

Hollywood actress Keira Knightley and her partner Rupert Friend have been putting up on a boat in a waterway in London's East End, it has emerged.

Seemingly, the actress has rented the boat to spend time with her love interest.

"They've hired the boat until the summer, and they seem really happy. They spend most weekends on it, brewing up pots of tea," the Sun quoted a nearby resident as saying.

The resident added, "They're a very sweet couple. They like nothing better than strolling along the canal hand-in-hand, and going to the chippy for a fish supper."

Also, a source said, "It's rare that Rupert and Keira get to spend an extended period of time together, so they're over the moon that they're both working in London at the moment. They regard their houseboat as their sanctuary."

Knightley is presently in London to star in The Misanthrope at London's Comedy Theatre.
