Karl pinned needles on my dress: Alexandra Avarez-Garcia

There is a kind of a fondness that comes out of her voice when Alexandra Alvarez-Garcia talks about fashion legend Karl Lagerfeld. “I am lucky to have worked with a legend like Karl. You can’t describe him unless you have seen him face-to-face. I remember the last minute change he made me undergo just before I was about to step out on the ramp of Paris Fashion Week.

He put pins on my dress as I was readying myself to step on the ramp,” says Alexandra, one of the top models in Spain.
She is in India for an extensive tour of the country and also to find out about work prospects here.

She says, “After getting all the top assignments in Spain, I walked for fashion shows in Milan, Paris and New York for a few years. I need something exciting in my life now. And I guess India has that excitement in store for me.”

So who according to her has the best bikini body in Bollywood? “I want to see Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in a bikini. They have bodies that meet international standards,” she signs off.
