Kapoors re-unite for Sridevi!

Actor Sridevi’s comeback film has already generated a lot of buzz; and as it gears up for its India release, the entire Kapoor khandan is all set to support the actor as she starts her second innings in Bollywood.

Buzz is that actors Anil Kapoor with daughter Sonam and Boney Kapoor’s son Arjun will be attending the premiere of English Vinglish this Thursday.

A source close to the clan reveals, “No one in the Kapoor family wants to miss the opportunity of watching Sridevi’s comeback film on the big screen after so many years. This movie is pretty close to Boney’s heart as it marks the return of his wife Sridevi into Bollywood after a hiatus of 15 years. Thus to support him, the entire extended family wants to attend the premiere. Realising the emotional bond attached to the movie, everyone in the family has cancelled all their prior commitments and made sure nothing comes in their way on Thursday evening.”

It looks like the premiere of the film is going to be one star-studded spectacle, with the entire Kapoor clan walking down the red carpet. The source further adds, “Though Sonam is shooting in Varanasi for her upcoming film (Raanjhaana) opposite South actor Dhanush, she will most likely take a break and fly down to Mumbai for a day. She wants to join her father and other family members in attending the premiere tomorrow evening.”

Sridevi is waiting in anticipation for the film’s release here, after it was  well-received at the Toronto International Film Festival recently.
