Andhra Pradesh chief minister K Rosaiah today expressed his best wishes for M Sree Rama Chandra, a finalist of Indian Idol 5 contest.
The chief minister said Rama Chandra has become the pride of Andhra Pradesh by reaching the finals of the event organised by Sony Entertainment TV channel. The final of the contest would be conducted tomorrow.
MSM Prasad, Rama Chandra's father met Rosaiah at latter's camp office today. Rosaiah wanted all Telugus across the world to support Rama Chandra and cheer him to win the contest.
Rosaiah hoped that Rama Chandra would win the contest and also wished he would bring laurels in future and add to the Telugu pride.
Meanwhile, Telugu Desam party president N Chandrababu Naidu and Tollywood (Telugu film industry) film stars N Balakrishna and Akkineni Nagarjuna also wished Rama Chandra success in the finals of Indian Idol 5 contest.
They also appealed all Telugus to support Rama Chandra.
Earlier, Rama Chandra won many singing competitions conducted by Telugu channels apart from being one of the top contestants in ‘Voice of India' and other music contests. In the previous editions of Indian Idol contests, two others from Andhra Pradesh Hemachandra and Karunya made it to the finals.
