Julianne Moore transforms into Sarah Palin for 'Game Change'

Julianne Moore looked almost like Sarah Palin when she donned a highly coiffed wig to transform herself into the former vice presidential nominee, for her latest film.

Moore is virtually indistinguishable from the former governor of Alaska in the latest trailer for the HBO film, Game Change, based on John Heilemann and Mark Halperin’s book about the 2008 presidential election.

The trailer begins with a discussion between John McCain, played by Ed Harris, and his senior campaign strategist Steve Schmidt, played by Woody Harrelson, the New York Post reported.

“We need to create a new dynamic in this campaign, We desperately need a game-changing pick,” says Harrelson.

And Harris responded, “Find me a woman.”

While the two speak, far-off images of Moore as Palin are shown, sticking a foot out of a car, walking into a dinner and striding onto the stage of the 2008 Republican National Convention as the audience chants, “Sarah! Sarah!”

Finally, Moore’s face is revealed as she steps to the microphone.

Her bone structure is shockingly like Palin’s and her hairdo is spot-on.

She dons a white suit, a string of pearls, and Palin’s signature rimless glasses.

“I will be honored to accept your nomination for vice president of the United States,” says Moore, her accent nearly identical to that of Palin’s.

To prepare for the role, Moore has said that she watched every interview with the Mama Grizzly.
