The pair had first come together on the hit dance record Scream, which also features on Janet's upcoming greatest hits compilation.
She was said to have teamed up with the late singer last year for a new track entitled Make Me, reports Contactmusic.
Janet's new Number Ones album, a two-CD set, will hit the shelves in November this year.
