This is another rumoured fall out that is creating ripples in the film industry. Apparently Imtiaz Ali, who was set to direct a romantic movie with Hrithik Roshan, was exchanging creative concepts with papa Roshan about the project.
An informer says: “Production house Eros had signed Hrithik some time back for a movie which never took off. After the company saw the Imtiaz directed Jab We Met do so well, they wanted him to take change of the Hrithik project and direct a romantic film.
This film was supposed to be a co-production with Rakesh Roshan. When Imtiaz read out the script to Hrithik (during Love Aaj Kal post production days), he had verbally said yes, but when it was bounced off Rakesh, he seemed to have some reservations and wanted changes to the script. Hrithik too was supporting the changes. But this ‘interference’ didn’t go down well with Imtiaz, riding two back-to-back hits. He seemed in no mood to go ahead with the film. Last we heard, he’s roped in Ranbir Kapoor for his next, which is still being written. The Hrithik-starrer is on the rocks.” Imtiaz, Rakesh and Eros were unavailable for comment.
