Malayalam superstar Mohanlal today said it was a greating thing to have Kochi in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
In a brief talk with mediapersons on the sidelines of a function here, Mohanlal said 'it is a good thing to get a team in the Twenty20 IPL'.
On Union minister of state for external affairs minister Shashi Tharoor's remark that Priyadarshan and Mohanlal have pro-cricket mentality and would support the team, the actor said 'since Kochi have team in the IPL, definitely we will cooperate'.
Priyadarshan and Mohanlal had earlier elicited interest in bidding for a team in the IPL, but backed out due to the introduction of some changes in the bidding stipulation.
The team that plays well is going to win, Mohanlal said to a query on the favourites for winning the third IPL.
