There is a strong buzz that Sanjay Dutt and his wife Maanyata are expecting their first child together. What’s further fuelling the gossip are statements by the star couple who have been publicly talking about planning a child for some months now.
Friends of the couple reveal that both Sanjay and Maanyata are quite keen to have a baby and have been visiting reputed Mumbai gynaecologists for regular check-ups. And the way Maanyata is looking these days certainly suggests the rumours are true.
“It looks like the early stages of pregnancy. The couple are being extremely cautious. They don’t want to announce it to the world just yet as they are very superstitious. They are in fact in denial mode because they think that buri nazar can harm the child,” says a close friend of the couple.
It is being said that Maanyata will most probably deliver the baby in the United States. “Maanyata has in fact partially admitted in an interview that she will have a baby soon. However, she has not shared this information with even some of their very close friends,” an informer added.
Another source claims the couple has no gender preferences. “They just want to have a baby and pamper the child. A boy or a girl doesn’t matter to them at all. Sanjay Dutt is in fact telling people that he wants to take six months off when Maanyata delivers their child because he wants to care for her and be with the baby. We are all hoping that they become parents soon.”
When DNA contacted Maanyata, she could not revert back. Her agent said she was travelling.
