Is Akshara Haasan debuting in Bollywood?

An assistant director now, Kamal Haasan’s younger daughter Akshara might be making her dream Bollywood debut soon. DNA has learnt that Akshara is assisting film-maker Rahul Dholakia currently and will soon be seen doing a film. She has been approached by many film-makers but she is currently cementing her foundation in cinema. We learn that Akshara is also reading several scripts and as soon as she zeroes in on one, she will make her big debut.

An informer says, “She definitely has the gene being the daughter of the legendary actor Kamal Haasan and daughter of the talented and acclaimed Sarika. It is only a matter of time for her to make her big debut but we hear that she has chosen to wait and learn more about the medium before she takes the plunge. It is definitely a sensible move.”

The source adds, “Akshara is as talented as Shruti as people she is working with say she is a thorough professional. She is working on the sets of Society and she has charmed everyone.”

Sources also add that she is being constantly guided by her father and sister. “Of course the family must be behind her completely. She is just fine-tuning herself before she faces the camera. It will be great to see how good she really is,” the informer ends.
