Mumbai: Kunal Kapoor has grown up watching Sholay but avers that he can never get tired of seeing it. "The movie is legendary due to its characters, including the horse and the dialogues which have become popular with the masses and everyone can relate to a Sholay-like situation. I can remember almost all the dialogues from the movie," says Kunal. His favourite scene is when Dharmendra is on the tank, drunk and threatening everyone below.

Actor Kunal Kapoor can read anything from fiction to non-fiction depending on his mood.

Ask Kunal about one movie character he adores and would like to essay and he becomes sad because he has to choose just one! However, after some consideration, he says, "I would love to play Robert De Niro's character from Raging Bull."

Among books, his favourite is Bill Bryson's A Short Story of Nearly Everything. "Scientific theories intrigue me, but I can't understand them as I don't have those sensibilities. But, Bill Bryson makes those very theories simple to understand. His books are a perfect blend of humour and scientific theories, which make it good reading for non-science people," he explains. Kunal can read anything from fiction to non-fiction depending entirely on his mood, though has grown up reading The Hardy Boys series.

Apart from novels and books, he also likes reading comics and his favourite character is Obelix who according to him is a "jolly, happy character. The, drink-and-be-merry kinds," he says laughingly.
