Neat freak: Where cleanliness is concerned, Anu Dewan is a complete neat freak and she rates herself ten on ten. “I’m no different from Monica in Friends. Be it shoes, bags or clothes, I have a separate wardrobe for all of them.”

Eye catching: “I have a very pretty red Moschino dress and it’s just stunning,” replies Anu.

Passed over: It would have to be the first designer bag that she ever bought. “I still have the Gucci bag that I bought some ten years ago and it’s all withered now. Not that I use it now, but I just can’t throw it away.” 

Taking stock: Anu loves shoes and bags. So much so that she owns some 300 bags till date. “I just love bags of every shape and size and I don’t mind splurging on them,” she says.

Seasonal must-haves: Clutches score with her. “The Fendi clutch is very in and so is the Gucci one. I think they look great.”

Definitely passable: Anu seems to have had enough of kurtas and kaftans. “Having delivered recently, I still continue to wear them. But I must admit that there has been an overdose of ponchos – we could do without them for a while,” she says.

Patronising: “I have a weakness for Hermes bags, especially the Berkin. I already have a black one and I’m now eyeing the red.”

Quirky: She’s not really into ‘quirky’ clothing. “I prefer stuff that I’d be comfortable wearing.”

Steal worthy: “I have a soft spot for the stuff that my husband buys for me,” she smiles. —Vidya Prabhu
