Harbhajan Singh does it for a friend

While the news is out about Indian spin bowler Harbhajan Singh’s acting debut in Ashwini Yardi and Akshay Kumar’s Punjabi film Bhajji In Problem. Here’s a peek at his look in the film and what role he plays! Says a source from the production team, “Bhajji plays a good cop in the film which is almost ready and being shot in Chandigarh.

They did a look test with Bhajji and everyone was excited about his look! It’s a cameo and Bhajji was convinced by comedian Gurpreet Guggi to act in it. He said yes as Guggi is a close friend and is doing it only for him. The film also stars Punjabi heartthrob Gippy Grewal, Ragini Khanna and Om Puri and after Ashwini and Akshay’s Marathi film, this will be Akshay’s second venture into regional films, and Punjabi cinema for the first time.

Bhajji will shoot for the film after his cricket commitments are over.
At the moment Akshay is just a producer but everyone is hoping to convince him to act in the film too as he’s a Punjabi himself. Both Ashwini and Akshay are thankful to Harbhajan for giving them time and doing the film for them.”
