Allahabad: Activists of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal today staged a protest here against the release of Bollywood movie London Dreams alleging it contained sequences that hurt Hindu sentiments and threatened to stall its screening if the sequence was not deleted.

The saffron outfit workers, led by VHP's city unit president Pawan Srivastava, staged the demonstration at the collectorate and submitted a memorandum to the district magistrate explaining their opposition to the Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn-starrer which hit the screens today.

They alleged the movie contained an "obscene dance sequence" played to the tune of sacred 'Hanuman Chalisa', which was "nothing short of blasphemy" and warned screening of the movie at all theatres in the city will be stalled unless the objectionable scene was deleted.
