Everybody knows how close Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is to her ‘Pa’ Amitabh and ‘Ma’ Jaya Bachchan. She passionately treasures each and every thing her in-laws have presented her, both during her marriage and after. An example of her possessiveness about those things was revealed during a recent photo-shoot, when she refused to take off a kangan (bangle) from her hands that was a present from Jaya.
A source present on the sets says, “The shoot required close-ups of Aishwarya’s face and hands. Ash was wearing a kangan and it was a distraction as far as the picture was concerned and the photographer requested her to take it off — but Ash refused.” The informer adds: “Apparently the kangan was presented to her by her in-laws and might be part of her wedding jewellery. She gave her reasons for not taking it off. The shoot was then conducted with the photographer taking pictures from certain angles that does not show the kangan.”
