James Cameron’s Avatar might have elevated film viewing to a new level, but viewers at Inox, Jayanagar, complained of double vision and headache. They blamed it on defective 3D goggles.
The incident happened during the 5.15 show on Sunday. Those who complained of receiving defective goggles said they even tried to wear them upside down without any success.
“We had gone for the 5.15 show at Inox, Jayanagar. As the film started, all we saw were blurred images. We couldn’t make out what was going on the screen. Most viewers had a similar problem. The management, instead of giving an explanation, asked us to lodge a complaint. They were more worried about getting us out of the theatre,” said Rajveer Singh, one of the viewers.
“We have not received any complaints so far. The movie is doing well,” said a spokesman of Inox. People may suffer headaches while wearing 3D goggles when not watching the film. Those using corrective lenses may also find it difficult to wear the goggles above them.
