Anubhav Srivastava set to release 'Carve Your Destiny'

Talk about youngsters being tomorrow’s future, and 25-year-old Anubhav Srivastava is all up for motivating them further with his latest movie. Titled Carve Your Destiny, the film documents the journey of success of 19 celebrities who tell you all about their journey to the top.

A graduate in finance, the young lad took his college assignment of documenting a film a wee bit too sincerely; thereby making him a serious filmmaker. “We were asked to submit a project on a given set of topics. I decided to do a motivational film on documenting the success stories of celebrities who have inspired these youngsters. To perfect my skills in film-making, I did my masters in the field of media to bring out a clean project,” begins Anubhav.

Anubhav has spoken to celebrities like entrepreneur Kiran Majumdar Shaw, beauty queen Ekta Chowdhry, artist Jatin Das and more. He says, “Initially, nobody believed that I would be able to pull out this project. They called it an ‘unrealistic’ dream of mine. But later, I pushed myself to bring out a movie and I finally succeeded.”

To make a movie that involves speaking to a whole lot of celebrities was no cake walk for the young lad. “I did my first interview with IPS officer Kiran Bedi, who readily agreed to talk. But later, I went through a tough phase convincing people to be a part of my project. I have even waited for several months for them to reply to my emails and calls. It took me two years to complete the exercise,” he informs.

So, what was the best part of doing this project, we ask. “I have grown up admiring these eminent personalities and always wanted to know what the secret ingredient for them to succeed was. When I got the opportunity to interview them, I was more than happy to reveal it to the whole wide world,” he gushes.
Right now, Anubhav is working on a story line to make the interviews more interesting. “I will be completing the film by this year end and will start sending them to film festivals by early next year.”
