Emma Watson kisses French co-star in new Lancome ad

Emma Watson, who is the new face of Lancome, was recently spotted kissing French co-star Cyril Descours as they filmed romantic scenes for the cosmetics brand in Paris.

Wearing a strapless peach chiffon dress, black biker jacket and towering peep-toed shoe boots, the actress shot flirty scenes on Ile Saint-Louis - an island in the middle of the River Seine.

Perhaps testing out one of Lancôme's kiss-proof lipsticks, the young star smooched Descours in front of the cameras during the late night shoot, reports the Daily Mail.

Watson follows in the footsteps of screen stars including Kate Winslet, Penelope Cruz and Isabella Rossellini, all of whom have fronted advertising campaigns for the French beauty brand in the past.

It is unclear whether the campaign was for the brand's make-up or perfume, but with a huge legion of fans it is bound to fly off the shelves when released.

Watson, who has previously fronted campaigns for Burberry, has been leaving cryptic clues for her fans that she had been signed by Lancome on her Twitter page all week.

Last Friday she first tweeted: "A new venture is starting - what can it be? Follow my clues and you will see..."

This was followed with: "I'll pierce your skin if you hold me wrong but I'll love you forever if you pass me on," which referred to Lancome's logo - a rose.
