Elizabeth Hurley, Sir Michael Caine congratulate first-time father Elton John

Actress/model Elizabeth Hurley and actor Sir Michael Caine have congratulated Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish after they welcomed a healthy baby boy via a surrogate mother on Christmas day.

The Rocket Man and Furnish welcomed little Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John over the holiday weekend.

The couple announced the happy news revealing they are "very proud and happy parents", and their pal Hurley is leading star tributes to the new arrival.

"Massive congratulations to David and Elton on having their beautiful son. Can't wait for my first cuddle," the Daily Star quoted Hurley as writing in a post on Twitter.com.

And veteran star Caine has also offered his congratulations: "Great news about Elton and David adopting a child let's hope more people are granted adoption."
