Abhishek Bachchan was an instant hit conducting the masterclass at the 12th London Asian Film Festival. The star, who spoke at the event titled Tongues on Fire at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) in London early last week, moved audiences to splits as well as tears.

A source close to the development says, “The second day of the festival saw Abhishek Bachchan holding a masterclass to the packed cinema hall at the Apollo Cinema, near the popular London arts hub, the Piccadilly Circus. For the many Abhishek fans and admirers, the star rolled out a medley of anecdotes and tales of acting experience in his distinctive, endearing style. The audience was captivated with this rare opportunity to hear one of India’s most daring and creative actor.”

The informer adds, “Abhishek took the audience on his reel life journey including tricks for sporting different looks to tips on emotional scenes while enrapturing the audience with his trademark wit and utmost honesty.”

He also gave some advice to the audience, “The most important thing to have is ‘Belief in one’s self’ - don’t lose your belief and do not let anybody rob you off that. Believe that you can be the best, Believe that you will get a job and it will happen, believe as it is the only thing that is ours. Guard that with your life and do not let anybody ever take that away from you and most importantly, don’t allow yourself to lose the belief. Your belief in yourself is what will truly drive you and make you who you are and what you are. Every successful person has a deep rooted belief in self and that is the real key to success.”

He also told the aspiring film-makers in the audience: “Hope to work with all of you someday.”
