Deepika Padukone is completely hooked

Actor Deepika Padukone is young, restless and fast paced. And as a Gen Next star, the pretty actor is also active on social networking sites and therefore very clued in to technology and gadgets. The actor who is very tech-savvy says her interests aren’t just limited to the latest gadgets and gizmos, but also applications and portals.

Says Deepika, “I am completely hooked on to my phone. I cannot think about a single day without it. I love to download various applications that help me enhance my day to day life. Today gadgets and technology have become an integral party of my life.

And I hate the fact that people think that girls do not understand much about technology. We just do not lag behind in any front period.” But it isn’t just phone, the svelte star also has a passion for competitive games. “I got hooked on to strategy-based games while working with actor Akshay Kumar. He had plenty of these kinds of games on his tablet PC, and while shooting for both Housefull and Desi Boyz, I completely got hooked to them and now I too while travelling or for leisure play them on my tab. It’s a great stress buster and also enhances and keeps memory active.

For people like us who are always on the go, technology is a boon and there is no way that I can deny this. If it isn’t for these super gadgets life will really become incommunicado for all of us,” exclaims the actor.
