Footballer David Beckham was pulled over by cops for having illegal all-black tints on the window of his pimped-up 38,000 pounds Cadillac Escalade.
Tinted windows are a favourite with gangsters and hip-hop stars like P Diddy, 41, Snoop Dogg, 39, and Jay-Z, 41, but LA law states tints are only allowed on the top four inches of windscreens.
“Blacked-out SUVs in LA are associated with drug dealers and gangster rappers,” the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.
“They’ve been used in drive-by shootings to cover criminals’ faces and it’s no wonder Beckham got stopped,” the source added.
A County Sheriff’s officer issued Becks, 36, a warning ticket, and told the footie ace to drive straight home to the Malibu mansion he rents from director Steven Spielberg, 64, for 93,000 pounds a month.
