Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that he was ‘allergic’ to the first ever pair of Harry Potter glasses.

He revealed this in a one-of-a-kind conversation with Harry Potter author J K Rowling as part of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 Blu-ray and DVD set’.

“It was brilliant because we put the glasses on and eventually we realised that I was allergic to them,” ABC news quoted him as telling Rowling.

“I was actually allergic to the Harry Potter glasses. Because I had these two rings of white heads and spots that had come up around my eyes and it took us a week to realise that it was actually the glasses,” he said.

Their almost hour-long conversation is one of more than a dozen extras featured on the disc.

Filmed in London in 2010, the sit-down chronicles how the iconic film franchise changed both their lives.

In response to the glasses revelation by the actor, Rowling laughingly replies that its lucky neither of the two believes in signs.
