Rohit Verma who had lambasted his father Kamal on a television reality show from which he has been ousted, is on a war footing again as he is blasting his father for hogging cheap publicity by using Rohit’s name.
He says: “I was recently ousted from the reality show and I went through immense pain which was further increased by my own father. My father to prove his innocence negated my statements that my he was unfair and detached from his own son. This was always the case and is a cause of concern for me but little did I know that my own father will use me for cheap publicity.”
He adds: “My sister and I are extremely shocked and disturbed by the statements of my father speaking about everything being well between us and that he is proud of me and my achievements when the fact remains that he has not yet accepted me. I, in my life, have faced a lot of troubles and challenges as I was born and brought up in a conservative family. My sisters were always loved and cherished by my father, a sentiment which he never showed.”
Rohit says he is scarred for life because of his dad. “What has hurt me the most is the fact that the man who calls himself my father has never made me feel that I’m a part of him. My sister is extremely hurt by the way our father completely negated what I said for mere publicity.”
