Colin Farrell quietly breaks up with girlfriend

Minority Report actor Colin Farrell is reported to have quietly split from his actress lover Alicja Bachleda several months ago.

Bachleda, 27, and Farrell, 34, met on the sets of their film Ondine last year.

At the premiere, Bachleda told People magazine of their romance: "We were very professional and focused on our part and our jobs. The story itself is so beautiful... we really didn't have time to get our true emotions [on screen]."

A source has confirmed the news though Farrell has not commented on the split.

The actor has been busy filming back-to-back movies recently.
