The ongoing 17th International Children's Film Festival (ICFF) here has generated good response from the tiny tots, Children's Film Society of India (CFSI) said today.
Talking to reporters here, CFSI Chairperson Nandita Das said film screenings at all the screens (13) in the city have evoked enthusiastic response from the children.
The ICFF was inaugurated on November 14 and would conclude on November 20.
The festival has provided an opportunity for children from far off places like Jammu and Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh to watch films and interact with their counterparts from other states, she said.
In addition to watching films, the children are also participating in various activities like workshops in movie-making.
Asked about some films screened during the festival having scenes that may not be fit for viewing by children, she said the curators comprised educators too.
The actress released DVDs containing films which are made by CFSI in collaboration with a Mumbai-based video company.
