Cheryl Cole likely to sign £5 million Brit TV deal

After being axed from US X Factor, Cheryl Cole has plans to bounce back on television by signing a £5 million deal that will see her becoming the face of a major new programme, set to hit the market later this summer.

She is ready to sign on the dotted line to outdo former boss Simon Cowell’s talent show and become one of the highest paid stars on British TV overnight.

The singer’s 36-year-old manager Will.i.Am is expected to finalise the details of her new job.

“Cheryl’s had a knock but she’s full of Geordie grit and is going to come back fighting. America didn’t work out but she is still a megastar in Britain,” the Daily Star quoted an insider as saying.

“She is determined to get back on the box and show the world just what they’re missing. There’s already a £5 million offer on the table and she no longer needs Simon to succeed,” the source added.
