Bruce Willis to visit India soon!

The list of Hollywood stars making India a part of their itinerary is just getting bigger and the latest name that may soon be joining this ever-growing list is that of Die Hard action hero Bruce Willis.

Apparently, the Hollywood star is India-bound to promote his upcoming film Looper and is expected to visit the country sometime late in September or early October.

While there’s been buzz going on for a while about the actor wanting to come down and visit Jaipur and Delhi, an insider reveals that more than just a pleasure visit, the actor will actually be flying in to promote the Rian Johnson directed film that also stars Inception actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Emily Blunt (of The Devil Wears Prada fame). According to a source, Willis was rather kicked about the film — which is a futuristic action thriller based on the subject of time-travel — getting rave reviews at its screening at the Toronto International Film Festival recently and is said to be looking forward to promoting it in India as well.

“India has been high on Bruce’s mind for quite some time now. He was really keen to visit Jaipur and Udaipur, and in fact was initially planning to shoot part of his film here as well,” the source adds. The insider shares that the distributors here are in talks with the studio and the star to bring him down here.

“If he does visit India, he is most likely to fly to Mumbai sometime around September 29 and October 4. Preparations are in full swing as logistics are being worked out to make the plans work,” adds the insider. Bruce himself is known to be aware of Bollywood and is said to be looking at working on collabortaions with filmmakers and actors here too.

Interestingly, it was Bruce’s ex-wife  Demi Moore’s ex-husband Ashton Kutcher who had most recently visited the country as he shot for his film in Delhi. And last year it was good pal and actor Tom Cruise who made Mission Mumbai possible when he visited the country to promote his film Mission Impossible 4.
