Backstreet Boys to rock India

American band Backstreet Boys is set to visit India next month. The band will perform at Rock ‘N India, the country’s only international music festival. That’s not all! Legendary singer Richard Marx will also perform at the same festival, which earlier took place in Bangalore. This time Delhi and Bangalore will be hosting it.

Besides their performance, Backstreet Boys also plan to visit Mumbai. A source says, “The Backstreet Boys intend to catch up with a few Bollywood stars and discuss music besides being a part of the party scene in Tinseltown. Richard Marx might accompany them to Mumbai, but his plan is not yet clear. But he is keen on going sightseeing to places of tourist attractions.”

Bangalore-based band Swarathma will perform the opening act at the festival. Varun Murali, the lead guitarist, says, “We feel privileged that Richard Marx and the Backstreet Boys are a part of the fest. Though I haven’t heard much of Richard Marx, my friends say that he is good. As for Backstreet Boys, they were part of our growing-up years. They go back to an era we fondly remember from our school days.”
