Arjun Rampal roots for world cinema

Arjun Rampal is thrilled about working with good friend Shah Rukh Khan again. They team up in Farhan Akhtar’s sequel to Don that starts next year.

“I can’t wait to work with SRK again. He is such an entertainer and a livewire on the sets that people miss not working with him. The sequel has more action than Don. So it will be good fun,” said Arjun.

Arjun, who attended the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI) film festival to watch the UK film Land Gold Women, said this years MAMI has seen a remarkable improvement.

“It’s much better as the authorities have promoted world cinema in a big way. All film festivals should do that. They need to reach out to the masses. That is how they can promote world cinema and encourage people to see more of them,” he said.

And how was his experience of watching Land Gold Women? “It was a brilliant film. It shows the tribal instinct of human beings extremely well as it shows the contrast of people from educated home behaving in a certain way that’s really hard hitting,” he said.
