Angad Bedi doesn’t require a loyalty test

Never mind if he coordinates the much-hated ‘loyalty test’ on couples and ends up separating most of them — Angad Bedi doesn’t want to put himself under the same ‘atyachar’

“My love life is very personal but this much I can tell you that if you have a good line of communication between you and your girlfriend, you will never need a loyalty test in your life,” says Angad.

Angad admits that anchoring the ‘break-up’ reality show (which has already grabbed TRPs due to the nature of the content) has been an emotionally draining experience for him.

“It does take a lot out of me (the show). That is why I enjoyed the break and returned to Delhi. Seeing couples fight on the show is definitely not a good sight but what to do if you have failed a loyalty show. I am merely the anchor of the show and I have no hand in the content of the show or how it has been designed,” he says.

Angad denies that he puts a couple through acute psychological stress when one of the partner watches his fiance flirt with other people in front of them.

“I admit that it is a lot of stress but that is the nature of the show. We have s(pshychologist) Anjali Chhabria working with us on the show and all people are psychologically evaluated before they are allowed to participate. So, we ensure that we don’t put anybody through unnatural stress. The people who take part in the show know very well what to expect from the show and what might transpire out of it,” he adds.
