Amy Winehouse’s London home robbed following her death

Amy Winehouse’s copies of unreleased tracks, lyric books and letters, as well as one of her favourite guitars have been stolen from her north London home.

The prized possession of the singer went missing from her property in Camden following her recent demise.

Only 20 people, comprising of family, friends, security and police, had access to the stolen items, and her management can’t account for one of her favourite guitars.

Winehouse’s father Mitch, who is currently on a family holiday attempting to come to terms with his grief, has taken an oath to find the culprit.

“This is such a sickening shock to the family. That someone would stoop so low. They can’t get their heads around it,” Contactmusic quoted an insider as telling the Sun.

“Mitch is livid. The family, record label and management are months away from deciding what to do with any unreleased music. For that to be taken out of their hands is horrible,” stated the insider.

However, the 60-year-old former taxi driver is believed to have decided to give the thief a chance to “do the right thing” by returning the items before he calls in the police.

“Mitch is willing to give whoever has stolen the items a chance to do the right thing and put them back so it doesn’t have to get messy,” the source added.
