ShareMumbai: It seems female actors in Bollywood can never be friends. From time immemorial, their squabbles have been a cause of concern for many producers.
Now, if reports are to be believed, the latest entrants to this never-ending list are Amrita Rao and Malaika Arora-Khan. It seems Amrita is unhappy as Malaika makes a more grand entry in a TV reality show that she's mentoring. Malaika is a judge on the same show called Perfect Bride. Sources say Amrita has even spoken to the channel bosses and expressed her displeasure.
A source says, "Malaika has shot a special dance routine and that will be shown on air. It seems this hasn't gone down too well with Amrita, who has a simple entry with footage showing her interacting with the contestants. She is definitely miffed."
The source adds, "Even Amrita wanted a bigger entry but nothing can be done now. This might have resulted in tension on the sets and Amrita is not talking a lot to Malaika."
However, Amrita doesn't want to get into a controversy. She says, "I was a late entrant on the show. So, naturally I couldn't have got a bigger entry. Malaika's entry was planned from before. I was supposed to be only a celebrity guest but after the channel saw how well I interacted with the contestants, they re-negotiated with me and brought me on as a full-time mentor."
