Ameesha Patel is certainly much more in the news these days.
Reports that she and her London-based businessman boyfriend Kanav Puri have got back together and are rekindling their romance by spending more time together is doing heavy rounds in the industry.
And now, we learn that Ameesha has gone forward and bought herself a plush new pad in Mumbai’s suburb.
A source close to the actor reveals, “Ameesha has for long been hunting for a nice pad where she can live alone and looks like she has found it after almost six months of scouting. She was looking at something in the suburbs because she wanted to be closely connected with her family members living in the city especially after she reconciled with them recently. Again, her work places will also be closer if she is in the suburbs. She has got a nice cozy apartment and is getting ready to move in.”
We also learn that the actor is currently busy doing up her pad. “From the colours to the curtains, everything is being bought by Ameesha. It is her dream home and she wants to do it up just by herself. She has a keen sense of decor and so she is not taking any help from interior decorators. She is busy going through catalogues and ordering the best possible furniture and art works,” says the friend.
The informer furthers, “Ameesha is also chucking the too girlie colours out of her life. No pinks and lavenders for her anymore. She wants bright colours on the walls with off-beat complementing contrasts. She wants her house to be vibrant. So, selection of colours is also being done by Ameesha.”
Speculations are also on if Kanav will be visiting her in Mumbai soon. “Rumour has it that they are getting back together and so Kanav will definitely fly down to his lady love. It will be great if they both do up the place together. Everybody was anticipating that the actor will have some good news to share before the sudden unfortunate break-up happened. We are hoping they make amends to their relationship,” says the source.
