Ameesha Patel's being choosey

Actress Ameesha Patel recently announced the launch of her own production house and the launch saw a barrage of directors, including Shirish Kunder, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Sharma, Rakesh Roshan, David Dhawan, Priyadarshan, Imtiaz Ali and many more  to show their support to the actress.

But what Ameesha was unwilling to reveal, what was the name of the director who would helm her first production. Ameesha chose to play mum, sticking to, “Just wait and watch. We will be making the announcement soon.”

But now an insider reveals that the actor has almost zeroed in on one of her favourite directors, Priyadarshan, who had directed her in Bhool Bhulaiya. “Ameesha has great respect for all her directors but she’s keen to work with Priyadarshan again. Nothing has been finalised yet, but as of now, Priyan’s a hot favourite for sure. After all, Bhool Bhulaiya saw Ameesha deliver one of her best performances,” said a source.

Another source reveals that Patel might just surprise everyone by announcing not one, but two films simultaneously. “She working hard on the projects. But it’s still premature to talk about the genre or the stars to be roped in,” added the source.

It’s also unclear yet whether the actress would act in all her productions. “She is a professional and will take up the role only if she thinks that she suits it the best,” quips the source.
