All is well between Arjun Rampal and Rohit Bal

Fashion designer Rohit Bal  has made the first move to clear the air between him and his one-time best pal, actor Arjun Rampal.

The duo had a backstage altercation during last year’s Delhi Fashion Week. Rohit had asked Arjun — who, along with actor Dino Morea, was supposed to be his showstopper — to step aside for Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. A furious Arjun and Dino walked out of the show and vowed not to walk for the designer again.

Rohit says, “It hurts when I still hear that I didn’t let them walk because I was paid a lot of money. My decision had nothing to do with money. I wanted Dino and Arjun to be my showstoppers and that is why I called them at the event. But the sponsors intervened and I was forced to make Ranbir and Katrina the showstoppers.”
Rohit hints that he called up Arjun to smoothen out things with him. “I have spoken to him and everything is fine between us. My show was hijacked by somebody else and this will not get repeated again,” he says.

Arjun admits that the tension between them has eased. “Gudda (Rohit) is as close as anybody in the family. We partied together at my nightclub the other day. I shouldn’t be holding back malice for just one incident. I will walk again for Gudda if he calls me,” he ends.
